Armor Holdings [AH] yesterday said its shareholders have approved the company's sales to Britain's BAE SYSTEMS, paving the way for final closure of the deal on or about July 31.
Last week the Department of Justice granted early termination of its review of the deal (Defense Daily, July 20). BAE announced the proposed $4.1 billion acquisition in May. Once the deal is done, BAE expects its U.S. business to do about $12.5 billion in annual sales.
