Blackhawk Modifications and Atlantic Turbines International have entered a teaming agreement to expand turbine engine capabilities, forming a new company, Vector-Hawk Aerospace, headquartered in Daleville, Ala.
The new company will operate separately from the existing businesses of each company, to offer Pratt & Whitney [UTX] PT6A powered government operators a one-stop option for new engine enhancements as well as repair and overhaul services.
Vector-Hawk will draw on the expertise of the world-leading engine upgrade company in Blackhawk, as well as one of the leading Pratt & Whitney MRO providers in Atlantic Turbines, to offer customers a single source engine solution.

"Forming Vector-Hawk will open new doors to a host of government agencies and military operators looking for fresh engine options," Blackhawk President and CEO Jim Allmon said.
