Sundstrand Aerospace has acquired the ram air turbine product line from U.K.-based Dowty Aerospace Hydraulics for about $8 million

Sundstrand Aerospace has acquired the ram air turbine product line from U.K.-based Dowty Aerospace Hydraulics for about $8 million. "This acquisition is significant in that it fits our strategy of expanding our commercial and international business and it will benefit our customers who require a broader range of products," said a Sundstrand official.

The acquisition will add Flight Refueling Ltd., British Aerospace and IPTN as customers. The acquisition does not include any personnel, property or major equipment.
