The Institute for Defense Analyses, Alex., Va., $11.7 million modification to a $73 million cost-plus-fixed-fee contract for studies and analyses on support of the Office o f the Secretary of Defense and other defense agencies. Task orders will be directed to individual i ssues of urgent, near-term and long- term interest in the planning and management of defense and national security related programs.

Projects will be related to application of science and technol ogy in national security matter. Work will be performed in Alex. Va., and is expected to be comp leted by Sept. 30, 1998. Of the total contract funds, $770,012 will expire at the end of the cu rrent fiscal year. This is a sole source initiated on Oct. 1, 1993.
