VisitBritain picks partners

Leisure Report, Feb, 2008

National tourism agency VisitBritain has appointed Grafenstein, Lifelike and CDP to create a new roster of agencies to help market Britain to potential visitors throughout Europe. Together, they will develop and implement marketing campaigns on a three-year contract across 18 European countries.

Their work with all elements of the marketing mix will help build the brand of Britain, individual nations and London, and ultimately inspire consumers to travel. Simon Mills, VisitBritain's marketing manager for Europe, said: "Europeans make more than 23 million visits to Britain every year. With huge growth in visits from Eastern Europe particularly, we need to use ever more creative approaches to ensure they are familiar with all the experiences and destinations available here."
