The Rank Group unveiled Owen O'Donnell as its new non-executive director, with effect from 11 September 2008. O'Donnell is currently chief financial officer of Joost, the online media company. His previous appointments include chief financial officer of the online gaming companies Betfair and King.com.

Peter Johnson, chairman, said: "We are delighted to welcome Owen as a member of the Rank board. His extensive experience in internet gaming and his financial background will strengthen our board." O'Donnell will also join Rank's audit committee.
