Swiss International Air Lines took delivery of its 15th A340-300 last week. The former Air Canada aircraft joins a fleet of 24 widebodies including 10 A330-200s. 7/18/2008

Thai Airways board approved the acquisition of 20 Airbus A321-200s and said it has made "progress" in negotiations with Airbus. The purchase now requires government approval. The 179-seat aircraft are expected to be delivered in 2012-17. 7/16/2008

Tunisair said it had signed a firm contract at the Farnborough Airshow for three Airbus A350-800s, three A330-200s and 10 A320s, in a deal worth about USD$1.94 billion at list prices. 7/15/2008

Russia's VSMPO-AVISMA, Airbus and EADS reached a long-term agreement for the supply of titanium including round and flat mill products and die forging parts for current Airbus aircraft as well as new programs such as the A350-XWB. Contract extends to 2020 and has value potential estimated at $4 billion. 7/16/2008
