Could the people who are protesting about George Bush and the war in Iraq try protesting about the people who are planting bombs in the likes of Turkey and other countries?

Red Cross neutrality
REGARDING the ignorance of Mrs L from Gateshead, the Red Cross movement was formed after the Geneva Convention. It is based on neutrality and can show no bias towards any religion, country or political system, hence no Christmas tree.

I AGREE with Mr Pearson's letter about the state of the Metro. No other business in the country has gone downhill so quickly. Top brass in any other business would have been dismissed long before now. M, Gateshead.
