Saab shows its mettle

Saab is moving into the most ambitious product-development plan in its history, with encouragement that last year it achieved its second best-ever global sales performance
Although the Saab 9-3 Convertible has been on sale since late last year, this month's motor show will be the first time that the latest range of 9-3 Sport saloon, 9-3 Convertible and 9-5 saloon and estate models have been displayed together.
The company will also be previewing a new Euro4 compliant, common rail TDi diesel engine which will be introduced later this year in the 9-3 Sport saloon.
A Saab 9-3 Aero Convertible will feature as the Hero Car of the Motropolis Live Action arena, giving visitors an opportunity to see the high-performance 210bhp rag top in action.
