Motor racing: Michael Schumacher has vowed to bounce back after a troubled debut for Ferrari's new car in the Bahrain Grand Prix.
The seven-time world champion dropped even further off the pace in the title race when a hydraulic problem ended his race early at Sakhir ( his first mechanical failure since July 2001, a run of 58 races.

Schumacher was challenging eventual winner Fernando Alonso when the problem struck on lap 12 but matters did not improve for Ferrari after his retirement. Team-mate Rubens Barrichello, who was plagued by gearbox problems, plummeted down the order to eventually finished ninth.
