Crawcrook tennis starlet Alex Walker recently increased her chances of a trip to La Manga Club in Spain to play in the finals of the Sunday Telegraph Center Parcs Junior Tennis Grand Prix by finishing second in the Heaton Junior Open in Bradford.
Competing in both the 14 & under and 16 & under categories, Alex won through to both finals, unfortunately losing both.
Alex met Olivia Brown from Chorley in the 14s & under final, going down 5-3 5-4, and Emily Singleton from Baildon in the 16s & under, losing 4-1 0-4 10-3.
