A glitzy North East venue will showcase the latest winter fashions to raise cash for the Chronicle's charity for sick and disabled children.
The Chronicle's Sunshine Fund has teamed up with Dalton Park, in County Durham and the Hilton Hotel, on Gateshead Quayside, for a fashion show in October.
The show is aimed at improving the lives of children in our region and other children's charities are set to benefit.
As well as the Sunshine Fund, Dalton Park's own Kids Play charity, which buys play equipment, and a charity nominated by the Hilton are to receive money raised on the night.
The Sunshine Fund pays for equipment which makes a significant improvement to the lives of seriously ill or disabled children living in our region.
It is equipment that, despite improving their lives, children would probably otherwise have to do without because of funding restrictions.
Heather Scott, of Dalton Park, said: "Children are our future and this event will benefit children in the North East region.
"The charity fashion show is an opportunity for three of the biggest names in the region to come together to benefit those youngsters."
Sunshine Fund manager, Jo Harris, said: "We are delighted to be teaming up with Dalton Park and the Hilton for this event, which should raise a lot of money to help children in the North East.
"As well as being for a good cause some of the latest fashions available at Dalton Park will be on show and this will give people a perfect opportunity to plan their winter wardrobes."
The fashion show takes place on Sunday, October 16th, at the Hilton Hotel and tickets cost just pounds 10 each.
As well as the show itself fashion experts will be on hand to offer advice and there will be a draw to win a night's stay at the Hilton, including dinner for two.
Further details on tickets are available from Jo Harris on (0191) 201 6289 or Dalton Park on (0191) 526 6157.
