Children to party in park

Council bosses are throwing a free party for youngsters in a Tyneside park.
Activities are set to include arts and crafts, music, storytelling and magic for children under four years old.
Party in the Park has been organised by Sure Start groups across Newcastle and will take place in the city's Exhibition Park on Wednesday June 15, 11am-2pm.
Parents are invited to find out about the many services available to them from childcare and early education to health and family support. Information from various local agencies will also be available.
