Your say: Do you think the NHS should offer complementary therapies like acupuncture and homeopathy?

Scott Craighead, 28, Jesmond: There have been tests on these things and nothing has said they definitely work.

Pamela Cook, 65, retired, Gateshead: They should be on the NHS. If people want to use them then they should be allowed to.

Bill Hamilton, 78, retired, Jesmond: If people want them they should be able to get them in the same way as other medicine.

Paul Allison, 19, student, Gosforth: They should be available as people spend a lot of money on these treatments.

Richard Brooke, 20, student, Jesmond: People should be allowed to choose what medicines they want.

Adam Poker, 20, student, Spital Tongues: All medicine should be available on the NHS.
