Ford switch car sales

THE Jennings Motor Group has announced the relocation of its sales operation in Washington to the Group's supersite in Sunderland.
The service and parts department, based on Parsons Road in Washington, is unaffected by the relocation of the sales operation and will remain in business to service both Ford and Mazda customers.
The board of directors have reassured all staff that the decision to transfer the sales operation was taken in order to consolidate the Ford franchise for the Wearside area, with the company remaining as Ford Motor Company's preferred representative for all of the South Tyneside and Wearside area from Gateshead through to Sunderland and South Shields.
Nas Khan, managing director, said: "As a result of the close proximity, the decision was taken to transfer Washington sales operation over to Sunderland.
Sales inquiries will now be handled at the Sunderland branch on (0191) 549 MM. inquiries and bookings for Washington will continue on (0191) 4167700.
