Advice over autism

Evening Chronicle (Newcastle, England), April 3, 2008

THOSE living with autism will be able to get advice at an event starring BBC presenter Quentin Wilson, above.

The past decade has seen the number of cases of autism in children increase in the region.

In 2006 it was estimated more than two million children suffer some form of learning disability or behavioural problem.

These numbers have prompted North East chiropractor Dr Marie-Claude Lambert to organise an event at Newcastle's Centre For Life to highlight growing evidence that shows chiropractic care may help to alleviate some symptoms.

Quentin will be telling how chiropractic care saved his autistic son from a life on the medication ritalin.

There are no medications to cure autism, but drugs can relieve and treat symptoms.

Those wanting to attend tomorrow's event should arrive at the Centre For Life from 7pm.
