TYNESIDE MEP Fiona Hall has spoken out following the collapse of the European Parliament's ceiling in Strasbourg.
Some of he building's roof caved into the chamber while the parliament was in summer recess.
Fiona said: "The plenary session starting next Monday will now take place in Brussels instead, which goes to show just how unnecessary the monthly trip to Strasbourg really is."
