A MAN is in police custody after a car hit a house early today. Officers were called to Elizabeth Street, Gran-getown, Sunderland, just after 12.30am, after a Ford Focus crashed. The car had struck a parked Vauxhall Corsa before ploughing into the house. A 20-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated vehicle taking.
