WHERE YOU FINISHED; Sunshine RUN08 sponsored by ITPS
Evening Chronicle (Newcastle, England), July 4, 2008
HUNDREDS of runners raised money for the Chronicle's Sunshine Fund when teams from businesses swapped their suits for T-shirts and shorts.
Dressed in company colours, they took part in the 5 km race on Wednesday which started at the Pitcher and Piano Bar on Newcastle's Quayside, then headed towards the Copthorne Hotel, along to Newcastle Business Park, before doubling back to cross the Millennium Bridge.
Individual runners also took part to support the Sunshine Fund, which helps improve the lives of sick and disabled children across the North East.
Here are the results in the order in which they crossed the finishing line, followed by the runner's name, company they ran for, time, and number of shirt they wore.
