MAIN dealers can get unfair criticism for being overpriced.
Quite often, what they sell is not overly expensive but they don't bother to tell you why the car is worth the price they are asking.
There are hundreds of little things that manufacturers make main dealers do if they are going to sell a car as 'used approved'.
The car has to be inspected, brake pads and tyres changed early, paperwork and provenance checked. You will also find their pricing to be more consistent.
Small cars, for example, at independent garages can often be overpriced.
