Take a Bravo out for 2 days

Evening Chronicle (Newcastle, England), May 2, 2008

FIAT has decided that too many motorists are unaware of just how good its latest Bravo models are, so now the company plans to rectify the matter.

Potential punters are being invited to take the cars for a test drive - but not the usual trip around the block with the salesperson sitting in the passenger seat.

In the case of the Bravo, the test drive is for 48 hours, by which time the company is confident that any buyers will choose a Bravo in preference to any of its competitors.

Those who do take the plunge will be able to fund their purchase with free finance, an enhanced PCP - Personal Contract Plan - or what Fiat calls Finance Deposit Support.

The company is determined to lay to rest any lingering doubts about the build quality of its products, which dogged models from a decade or so ago.

There is a satisfaction guarantee that Fiat says will cover quality and enjoyment with a full refund to anyone who is anything less than delighted with their car.

Unlike other Fiat models, the Bravo comes with an extended fiveyear warranty with unlimited mileage and prices ranging from pounds 10,995 for the entry-level 1.4 model, rising to pounds 16,355 for the top-of-the-range 1.9 16v MultiJet 150 Sport.
