Waste Pioneer

Evening Chronicle (Newcastle, England), May 9, 2008

BOSSES from a North East firm behind an innovative method for recycling rubbish have been invited to speak at an international conference. Premier Waste Management will showcase its Parc system, which heats up household waste to high temperatures, converting it into compost. Mark Stouph, director of regulatory affairs at the company, will speak about the firm's groundbreaking technique at the Alternative Waste Technologies Conference at the Barbican in London on May 22.

He said: "Reducing waste is an essential part of the drive to tackle climate change. The key is to reduce the amount of biodegradable waste going into landfill."
