BASEBALL BAT ATTACK; Two men free after brutal assault on 11-year-old boy

SCARRED Cameron Hodson was beaten in a savage baseball attack by an 11-year-old.

But two men involved in the incident have escaped jail after appearing at Newcastle Crown Court.

Cameron, left, who was 11 at the time, was clubbed when he was cornered by the young thug and two adults, David Lowery and Richard Norris.

He suffered a broken nose, black eye and needed nine stitches to his forehead.

Cameron's dad Malcolm, of North Tyne-side, said: "This is not justice."

The 11-year-old was sent back to youth court for sentencing.
