Sandra Leckey, 43, general manager, West Denton: Sunbeds are dangerous and people are silly to use them. They should be regulated.

Susan Goward, 52, West End: I have never used a sun-bed but I have read that they are very dangerous.

Christine Elliott, 51, cleaner, Kenton: If you are constantly using them they could be very dangerous. They should be regulated.

Paul Nugent, 59, chef, Fenham: I have never used a sunbed but I think some people use them too much so there should be regulations.

Kevin Cook, 29, theatre assistant, Ryehill: People get cancer from sunbeds so they should just use spray tan instead.

John Cook, 31, Cruddas Park: Sunbeds are really dangerous and people should be careful as there are no regulations.
