A STUDENT has won an international prize for a futuristic transport design which could help ease traffic congestion and cut carbon emissions.
Yang Liu, 21, of Northumbria University won the Interior Motives Design Award 2008 for his Ishoes, which act like skateboards, using the human body's centre of gravity to control direction.
