Dressed to drive
Evening Chronicle (Newcastle, England), Nov 8, 2008
BUS drivers are dressing up for charity.
Staff from transport operators Go North East will ditch their uniforms and don colourful costumes to help raise money for Children in Need.
The characters will take to their vehicles armed with one of 200 red buckets to raise a smile as well as donations from their passengers this Friday.
Go North East's commercial director Martin Harris said: "We hope passengers will enjoy the new look for the day and join in the spirit of fun which raises so much money for Children in Need each year."
