AN exhibition dedicated to the work of a Tyneside author is proving to be popular with families.
Seven Stories, the centre for children's books in Newcastle's Ouseburn Valley, is displaying the work of David Almond from Gateshead, who now lives in Northumberland.
Dozens of families have been able to discover his creative process from Skellig, his first young adult novel published in 1998, through to Jackdaw Summer, in 2008.
