NEWBIGGIN Sports Centre proved too strong for Bebside in the second round of the George Davison Cup, winning 4-0.
Leading the way with the goals was Rob Holden with a treble, while Thomas Stephens was also on target.
New Hartley just beat Bedlington Grapes 5-4, the Grapes' counters from Barry Easton (2), Tony Harvey and Michael Carver.
Nick Jefferson, with a double, Gary Lyle, Martin Lawn and Phil Thompson hit back for the Hastings.
Blyth Town Sunday from the Premier Division easily overcame Big Club 11-2. Charlie Washington and Paul Log notched for Big Club, while for Town Daniel Hislop struck four, Tom Haigh three, Neil Blades two and Jeff Fuller and David Burt on each.
The Northern beat Blyth Kitty Brewster 5-0 and the Hogg brothers did the damage, Michael nabbing four and Chris one.
Blyth Masons Arms put in a good display against Ashington RAOB, only going down 2-0.
A Stephen Elsey own goal and Shaun Gibson made up the Buffs' tally.
In a see-saw game, the Seahorse lost 7-6 to North Shields Albert.
Top man for Seahorse was Martyn Hepple, who celebrated a hat-trick, with Brian Gabbitas (2) and Alan Erridge also on target.
Albert's counters came from John Amos (3), Craig Culyer (2) and one each from Darren Synergy Blyth and Wansbeck Sunday League and Terry Livermoore Goughesher.
South Beach CC went down after extra time to Blyth Comrades.
Mark Sharples, John Rutherford and Mitchell Fawcus converted for South Beach, with Stephen Bell (2) Terry Self, Paul Huck and Stephen Malloy on target for Comrades.
In another close game, Percy Arms came out on top Against North Shields Oddfellows 5-4.
Efforts for the Percy came from Jamie Aldus, Ian Dawson (2) and Stevan Rylatt (2).
On target for the Oddfellows were Gary China, David Jubb, Kane Chirnside and David Parker.
High Street came from behind to beat North Shields Gunner 3-2.
Brian Elliott, Anthony Goldie and Ryan Wigham netted for High Street, for the Gunner, Adam Burn and Alan Langlands.
Monkseaton Black Horse lost at home 4-0 to Whitley Bay Cibos.
Scoring for the Cibos was Chris Gillespie, Chris Woolley and Mark Nicholson (2).
Cramlington Brockwell Celtic saw off North Shields Chirton 5-3. Chirton's counters courtesy of Jason Armstrong, Dean Riley and Cook and Turnbull Cramlington Sunday League Nicky Whitelaw, Celtic's thanks to James Harrison (2), Dave Armstrong, Paul Weightman and Mark Farney.
White House crashed 7-1 to Whitley Bay Venture.
Nigel Swan notched for White House, but two goals each for David Thompson and Ian Dunn, and one each for Tony Coxon, Kevin Marsh and Michael Tate, sealed their fate.
Ashington Mortimer and New Delaval and Newsham played out a 3-3 draw.
Goals came from Daniel and Paul Wendt, with Ross Waldy adding the third for the Mortimer, Jason Hamilton (2) and Paul Middleton for New Delaval.
