Managing the MINI; MINI

Evening Chronicle (Newcastle, England), Sept 19, 2008

RECENTLY changing its name from Mill to Cooper Sunderland, the main local MINI dealer has a new brand manager.

Andrew Clark has a wealth of experience with MINI.

Andrew, 32, joined the motor trade when he was 18, firstly working for VW as a junior sales executive and then progressing to sales controller for Mill BMW at 22.

He then went on to successfully launch the MINI brand at Priory Tyneside in 2001 and then in 2005 he repeated this success at Elvet in Durham. Andrew then went to work for Bentley Newcastle.

Andrew said: "It is great to be back in the world of MINI. The product is fantastic, and with the nowenhanced range of highspec MINI models available to choose from, our customers will be thrilled." The new showroom, completed in 2007, displays the latest MINI models to give the customer the full MINI experience. It also boasts a large selection of Cherished MINIs thanks to the increased size of the forecourt.

Pride of place in the new showroom is being given to the MINI Clubman, the first MINI with the option of five seats and is 24cm longer than the hatch.
