HOME-BASED businesses in the North East say they are beating the credit crunch.
A survey has revealed eight out of 10 home-run businesses in the North say they can survive the current tough conditions. And 80% believe it is likely they will be able to grow or maintain their level of business during the economic downturn.
In addition 22% of self-employed home-based professionals say general trading conditions for their business are positive, with 55% saying conditions are average or no different to normal. And only 5% believe they will definitely not be able to grow or maintain their level of business.
