TV's Escala head for ball

REALITY TV stars Escala are coming to Tyneside The artists, signed by Simon Cowell after getting to the final of Britain's Got Talent, will play the Marie Curie Masked Ball at the Hilton hotel, which overlooks the Tyne Bridge.

All proceeds will go to the cancer charity.

Suzanne McKenna, area fundraising manager said: "The Marie Curie Masked Ball is the flagship event in our calendar.

"It attracts hundreds of supporters for a fabulous night of entertainment in the knowledge that every penny raised supports our work caring for cancer patients here in the North East.

"We are delighted this year Escala will entertain us at the ball and we know from their amazing performances on Britain's Got Talent last year that we are in for a show to remember."

There a still some tickets remaining for the show and they are pounds 75 each to include a three-course meal.
