Four six formers from All Saints' RC Comprehensive School won places at Oxford University. Andrew Pickup, Glenys Nestor, Robert Habron and Peter Smith were the successful students. Robert won an open scholarship for a biochemistry place at Queen's College, Andrew will read Mathematics at Trinity and Peter will study history at Oriel. They were all 17. Eighteen-year-old Glenys will read modern languages at Lady Margaret Hall.
