Judy's input provides a spur!
Huddersfield Daily Examiner (Huddersfield, England), Nov 16, 2005

Phoenix welcomed back Judy Vickerman from a late holiday, but she couldn't provide the victory boost.
Although she won both her ladies' badminton doubles they were the only rubbers that the home side won as Fartown B romped to a 7-2 victory at Milnsbridge YMCA.
Fartown's men's trio of Matt Ford, Jason Armitage and Mark Thompson proved too strong for Mark Broadley, Ken Boulton and Martin Tidbury and won all three rubbers in straight games.
But Vickerman's introduction in the ladies gave Phoenix a fillip as she teamed up with Carole Moir and Hayley Smith to beat Helen Hales and Nicola Senior, and then Hales and Arlene Spensley, both in straight games.
But those were the only two successes for Phoenix as Fartown took command of the rest of the rubbers for a comfortable victory.
