Burt Warren, from Kirkburton, is a Yorkshire boxing champion. The 20-year-old, who is called Alistair but prefers to be known by his nickname, won the county senior novices title at 75 kilos, outpointing Liam Walsh, from Halifax ABC, 16-6. The final took place at Harehills, Leeds. Warren boxes for the University of Huddersfield club, where he is trained by John Chapman, and works at town-centre photographic shop Jessops.
