COLNE VALLEY: Music for motorists

THE Huddersfield Group of the Institute of Advanced Motorists enjoyed a party atmosphere at their last meeting of the year.
Slaithwaite Brass Band entertained at an early Christmas party, playing a variety of music, from classic to pop and Christmas carols.
Meanwhile, this month saw Bernadette Louise Lawton and Dr Ronald James Jameson pass their Advanced Driving Test with guidance from John Gray and Lionel Holmes.
The next meeting will be on Monday January 5 at The Royal British Legion Club, Scar Lane, Golcar (7.30pm for 8pm), when Geoff Boswell will be guest speaker, on Build it Yourself, Cowshed To House Conversion. All welcome.
