Local briefs: Anyone got a metal detector?

AN urgent plea has been made for a metal detector. Peter Budd, who has an allotment at Berry Brow, needs one to help him find an old water stop tap. There was a leak on pipes in the allotment site off Hangingstone Road and they need repairs. Mr Budd said: "We know roughly where the tap is meant to be, but it is difficult to find.
I hope someone can help us out with a metal detector." Mr Budd can be contacted on 07786 721480.
