Song of praise for choir's achievement

A SCHOOL choir which won a national television contest performed at the Kirklees mayor-making ceremony.
Lindley Junior School triumphed in the BBC Songs of Praise Choir of the Year competition in March.
The youngsters were asked to showcase their talents at Huddersfield Town Hall as Clr Karam Hussain took over the chains of office from Clr Jean Calvert.
They were given a glass trophy by Clr Calvert in recognition of their success
