Local briefs: Trek for dads

FAMILIES are being invited to take part in a Father's Day walk and raise cash for charity. The Red Cross is organising a walk in the Peak District on June 15.
There is an eight-mile route and an 11-mile route.
Registration costs pounds 10 and walkers are asked to collect at least pounds 50 in sponsorship.
