Pub's bedding in giveaway bid

CHARITIES are 'inn' with a chance of bagging some bedding, thanks to a Kirkburton pub.

The Foxglove Inn, on Penistone Road, has 23 double duvets and about 50 pillows to give away.

Pub company Mitchells and Butlers, which owns the Foxglove, is upgrading bedroom facilities at all its businesses.

Theresa Mitchell, who runs the pub with husband Jeff, said: "We have a mountain of bedding to get rid of but we don't want it to end up in landfill, so we need to find it a good home."

They want to hear from any charities that might be able to make good use of the bedding.
