Local briefs: Driver flees after crash

A DRIVER ran off after a crash in Huddersfield. His silver Renault Clio pulled out of Albert Street, Lockwood, into the path of a Nissan Almera on Lockwood Road just before 7pm on Saturday.
The Clio driver got out and fled. He is African-Caribbean, in his early 20s and slim with short hair. No-one was hurt.
