Local briefs: Three injured

THREE people were hurt in a crash on Lindley Moor Road. A Ford Focus and a Renault Clio collided at the junction with Crosland Road at 2.30pm yesterday. The 40-year-old Oakes man driving the Clio suffered a back injury and his passenger - a 16-year-old boy - suffered cuts to his mouth and whiplash. The 18-year-old Fartown man driving the Ford suffered bruised knees.
