It's flower power at Wilshaw Church

ST MARY'S Church, Wilshaw, celebrated its fifth biennial flower festival from June 12-14.
The event, with an 'Across The World' theme, featured 15 displays, including a Sudanese cross, an Ethiopean cross and a Celtic cross.
The event was opened by Kirklees deputy mayor Clr Andrew Palfreeman and attended by Bishop of Pontefract the Rt Rev Tony Robinson.
The event raised just over pounds 1,000 to be spent on a new boiler and heating system for the church..
