Aviva in Oz deal

INSURANCE giant Aviva has agreed to sell its Australian life and wealth management businesses.

The pounds 450m deal with National Australia Bank allows Aviva to focus on its Asia markets, where it believes it can achieve a leading position.

NAB owns the Yorkshire and Clydedale banks..
