>Ó Cianáin, Tadhg ( fl. 1600), author of a chronicle of the Flight of the Earls . His narrative is written in journal form and records in brisk style the stages of Hugh O'Neill and Red Hugh O'Donnell's journey from Donegal to Rome between September 1607 and April 1608. A lost manuscript in his hand containing hagiographical material was used by Michéal Ó Cléirigh in 1627.
