Concise Oxford Companion to Irish Literature, The, January, 2000 by ROBERT WELCH
Ó Donnchadha, Tadhg (pseudonym ‘ Tórna’ ) (1874–1949), scholar and poet. Born in Carrignavar, Co. Cork, at that time still, to an extent, Gaelic-speaking, he was educated at the North Monastery, Cork, then at St Patrick's College, Drumcondra. He edited Irisleabhar na Gaedhilge , 1902–9.
His Leoithne Andeas (1905) was the first collection of poems in Irish of the literary revival . He edited the work of many poets, among them Aodhagán Ó Rathaille and Pádraigín Haicéad .
