Cleveland Jewish News 04-22-2005 Shelli Lavender, dean of academic affairs of the Jerome Lippman Jewish Community Day School in Akron, was selected as one of 18 educators in North America to participate in SuLaM: Study, Leadership and Mentoring. A professional development program, SuLaM is run by RAVSAK: The Jewish Community Day School Network.

Lavender will spend two summers at Brandeis University learning about ways to enrich study of Jewish text, traditions and pluralism in her school.
