Rexam (www.rexam.com) will close its Forest Park, Ga., beverage can manufacturing plant. It will also shut down an additional 12-ounce line at its Longview, Texas, plant to address overcapacity of 12-ounce cans in the U.S. beverage can market, and will focus on 24-ounce can production.
