ROW: Tomkins and Ginn score win in elite pair
MELBOURNE, Jan 30 AAP - James Tomkins and Drew Ginn from the Oarsome Foursome today scored
a convincing victory in the men's elite pair in the University Regatta at Nagambie Lakes.
Ginn has teamed up with Tomkins for the first time in the pair due to the recent withdrawal
of Nick Green from the Oarsome Foursome.
Later in the program, Tomkins stroked the winning Mercantile crew to win the senior eights
final in convincing fashion from Melbourne University by two lengths.
Barcelona Olympic Gold medallist Peter Antonie from Melbourne University, who turns 40 this
year, was in great form to win the Elite Sculls final by half a length from clubmate Sam
