AAP Sports News (Australia) 04-12-1999 SOC: Shearer inspires Newcastle, square for Arsenal, Man Utd By Andy Edwards LONDON, April 11 Reuters - Alan Shearer delivered a warning to any who thought the England captain's powers were on the wane with a double strike as Newcastle United beat Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the FA Cup semi-final at Old Trafford today. Newcastle United reached its second successive FA Cup final but holder Arsenal and Manchester United must meet again on Wednesday after a 0-0 draw at Villa Park earlier today. The second semi-final at Old Trafford also went to extra time.
