AAP Sports News (Australia) 05-26-1999 SOC: Manchester United wins toss to wear red shirts BARCELONA, Spain, May 25 Reuters - Manchester United will wear its traditional strip of red shirts and white shorts against Bayern Munich in the European Cup final at the Nou Camp Stadium on Wednesday. Bayern, whose current strip features a white and red shirt and white shorts, lost the toss of a coin for choice of colours and will play in its silver-grey second strip. The competition rules state that where there is a colour clash, both teams should change strip, but the teams agreed to a toss.
